This is a great vest for the best price I found on Amazon. I ordered the XL for my 100+ lb. German Shepherd and it fits great. It’s made nicely where it does not rub underneath his armpits. He looks great in it also! Exactly what I had hoped for. Also, the packaging was great. It came double bagged and layed flat to protect the form.

I have a pit bull terrier named Sergeant. When I first adopted him, he was near anorexic. Now that he’s well fed and healthy again, he got much bigger and I had to expand the vest. Still, with expanding, I haven’t reached the maximum size the vest goes to. It’s extremely durable. Through the yanking, moisture, and different weather, it’s lasted. My dog loves it too! Sometimes he won’t let me take it off of him, but 100% of the time he waits for me to put it on, and my dog usually loves running around naked. My dog’s a little heavy now, too, and the handles really help me lift him in a safe and comfortable way for him and I both. I put 6 tactical patches on it, and I still have a little more room for some small ones. Worth the money.

Fits nicely. Great buy! Also I live the fact that has metal clips although would have been nicer if all 4 were metal but that's OK cause the 2 large clips are a nice thick plastic should hold up well. This harness is padded too so its comfortable to leave on. Very well made too, doesnt seem to bother my dog either. Highly recommend!!!

This is an amazing harness, the materials are of very high quality. My dog actually seems to like wearing it as it looks very comfortable. The buckles are very secure and the harness is very adjustable. It's perfect for a dog which might pull hard on the leash as it will not choke the dog, but it will be very hard for the dog to pull because of the design. If you're purchasing for a working dog there is something you must keep in mind. As with all of your equipment you must insure once you receive it that it is withen working condition. I've seen quite a few comments complaining that the stitching wore out. This is a rather bs complaint. All equipment will eventually wear out and all manufactures occasionally have mistakes in quality control. If you plan to use this for a working dog it's your responsibility to insure your dog's saftey. You should look at all the seams and make sure they are secure. Mine were when I received it, even so I'll be taking this to a family member and having them double stitch every seam. This will insure it last much longer and will insure my companions saftey. This isn't something that is outside of what people should expect. If you're in the military or police or in the tactical field in general you should be fixing and modifying all of your equipment to insure its functionality. Seriously, this is a great harness and I will recommend it to anyone.

Ideal for my dog since she tends to pull. It doesn't hurt her throat or pharynx. It is easy to keep her under control if she tries to run all of a sudden. She is a strong dog, stronger than me! This helps me to close the gap

We have a rescue Doberman with an amputated leg, which makes it difficult to get him in and out of vehicles. The handle on this vest lets us assist him - or even lift him. It is sturdy and well made and we like the extensive velcro areas for attaching his 'dog in training' patches. My husband liked the military colors (he had working dogs previously). The vest seems to fit my large boy well and does not impede his front leg movement.I agree with other reviewers that the main buckles for the under belly strap should be the quality metal that the front buckles are made of. The belly buckles are the ones you open all the time - so why not upgrade these?

This ICEFANG won the approval of my dog Katina hands down! At first she just looked at me like "Another one?" But once I got her to buy into wearing it, she seemed to take to it like it was meant just for her! At first, I left it loose and let her wear about 30 min then a few days later I adjusted the straps evenly just a little bit and sprinkled Johnson's baby powder on the inside of it and put it on her. We then went rumbling in the woods with my other dogs behind the house. The vest seemed to be better fitting this time and Katina was able to move freely and be herself which I included a picture of her running. 3rd photo up close to show the straps and photos of her head up and down and to the side showing top of vest and underbelly. I will need to do just a little more adjusting but this is fine until she puts a little more wear onto it. I needed a vest for her to help her when one of her hips gets tired from all the play and she needs a little help. Plus when we go out into the woods and hit the creeks, she keeps up with the other 3 dogs and she wouldn't have it any other way. The handle helps because I can loop a towel through it and walk with her assisting her on the way back without as many breaks and if we have to travel the handle helps me get her into the Jeep. She is a little heavy from being spoiled rotten but at 65lbs, she is pretty solid and getting to be a senior. I do wish I could have gotten the longer back style that comes with a handle at the back but Katina is hot blooded and I had to think of summer time. For now, this really works for her and she does like the vest unlike the others she tried and I winded up donating those. I hope the pictures helps because she was able to fully function like she didn't have the vest on which was what stood out the most. One more thing, I never leave a vest on her for no longer than its intended purpose.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Update looks like I took advice from people and fix some of the issues from the original product it was a great product but you would get ears sticking out from the deli belly plate as the dogs ran around new version that's not the case very happy good jobGreat product... only one that fita medium-sized dog breeds stand about 18-22 inches at the shoulder and weigh about 40-60 pounds. I look for months to find a vest for them..After i got the fit perfect, I sewed the belleand chest wing in to place the tended to become untucted when te started running around.. but that is a personal thing not a product issue.I have 2 for my dogs.I have bought 3 more of them in different sizes for client (dogs) that is see a lot .The only down side would be no XXS for my old man, Chihuahua mix.NOTE : These are not good for untrained dogs, i.e. escape artist / bad walkers or fearful dogs... they can to get out of them fairly easy, but this is true for most harnesses with the exception being a master harness ( RUFFWEAR ).

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  My dog use to pull like a freaking psycho. He would choke himself to where he couldn’t breathe and his eyes would be blood shot red. It was so bad we couldn’t take him anywhere. One walk with this harness and he doesn’t pull hardly at all anymore? It is a miracle.

***Comfort***It is a second skin for her, there have been zero complaints (If you own a GS, then you will know what this statement actually means). While we do try to take it off of her while she is in the house, she has fallen asleep several times with it on. There are lots of curves in the design and all of the buckles have two layers of padding underneath. I have not tested it with gear yet, but it does a great job at not moving around or shifting. My dog is 17lbs in the photo, if you were looking for a poundage/size reference. The sizing chart said to get her an "XS", but went with the "S" and don't regret it. At the minimum setting, it fits her just fine.***Functionality***It is very easy to put on and take off. I eventually plan to have her carry her own "gear" for day hikes and camping. Molle canteen with water will go on one side and a pouch full of food and a bowl will go on the other. The top metal loop for the leash works very well and the whole thing really does a great job at distributing the pressure if she tries to chase a cat, or I have to give her a quick correctional tug. The large handle on the back is also a fantastic addition. She is still a pup, so giving her a little extra help getting into and out of the car is quick and easy.I went with this one over the (OneTigris) one because of the metal clasps on the front. They are super easy to work with, and honestly look better. Otherwise they look identical.***Look***I mean... just look at those pictures... she looks like she is ready for the most ADORABLE battle.***Price***I was initially hesitant to get this for a puppy, because I knew that she was going to outgrow it, but even if you had to buy three of them throughout the growth of your dog, that is still only around the "hundo" mark. Plus, if they outgrow it, you now have a gift for someone else. I want her to get used to the feel of it, so it is worth it for me.

Having been a K-9 Handler/Trainer for more than 50 years- We are very pleased with the two Tactical Harnesses that we purchased from Amazon and made by ICEFANG. However, I do wish that the side buckles were made from metal like the two front ones are. The plastic buckles do break without warning and this is why professional training harnesses have buckles on them and typically made from leather. In this case the harnesses are for Disability and Assistance, and they do exactly what we expected from them. Additionally a client also ordered one and she is also VERY PLEASED with hers. All are equipped with the stiff handle (from another Mauf'rr) and attached to the top front D-ring. Not quite as good as they would be if attached to the shoulder area on each side, but in these 3 cases it works very well and fulfill the needs of the owners and dogs. Sizing is right on with their charts. We got them in the Small, Medium and 2X-Large sizes to fit adult Belgian Malinois ranging in size from 29lbs to 65lbs to120lbs. I suggest if your dogs measurements differ in sizes than listed in the chart, go with the largest measurement. two examples- Our 29lb female was in the correct chest size, but the neck size was off. We used her neck size and all was good. On the very large male, the larger size was the chest, but the neck measurement was different from the chart. We used the larger chest size to fit the chart. In both cases using the larger size vest worked well. On the medium and more standard sized female Mali the sizing chart was correct and her vest fit perfectly. She is only a year old, and she was close to the next size up, so we got her the next larger size and the fit was still good. That leads me to believe that if anything, the vests may run either true to size or slightly small. The colors are just a tad lighter then what you may expect the listed colors to be, but none of them have faded from the couple of washings they have had so far.YES! I would and DO RECOMMEND these harnesses/vests to others and others have purchased them and no complaints. Using the Velcro or hook and loop style patches there is no need to have to sew and cut loose patches as may be needed (like a K-9 in Training Graduates to a Full Working Service Dog) or Morale patches are changed. Additionally the Molle pouches help carry light weight articles that may be needed by the K-9 or the disabled person such as flashlights, medicine, cellphones and water or soft-drinks. NOTE: Molle pouches are made for easy removal and that is something that you likely DO NOT WANT. When using them on your dog, I suggest that you use the plastic clips that are available or add some additional Velcro to the pouches. You can still remove and replace them with no problem but your dog is far less likely to have them come loose. This is no fault of the vest, Molle pouche design, or the K-9....this is the way they are meant to fit and attach. A little extra care on your part will keep YOU from losing valuables.Again- Great vest and working harness for most any need. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :-)

Fantastic! Great workmanship, great quality, great product.CONS: I wish all 4 buckles could be metal, instead of just the front 2. Just makes me feel like only half the vest has quality materials - even though the back buckles are heavy duty. Also I wish the top clip was metal, like some of the other vests available, it is also heavy duty plastic. The grab handle leaves something to be desired. Would have been nice to incorporate a rubber handle.PROS: The lead clips on the bottom is perfect. Most vests do not offer these. The molle system is well stitched with no loose threads. The sizing is good & the buckles are in just the right places to make for perfect fits.In summary this is fantastic for the price. If ICEFANG were to offer a more expensive option with all upgraded buckles, clips, & handles - I would have been willing to pay another $15-$20 for the upgrades.

I was searching for a good sturdy vest for training. We have a small female American Doberman Pinscher and she wears a medium size harness. We purchased a medium and it was a perfect fit for her! Not too long and not too short. She looks amazing especially with those metal clips for extra durability which will come in handy for all the training. Very satisfied! Nothing bad to say about it.

Absolutely love this vest. The quality is definitely top notch. Even rivals the combat gear we’d use in the Marine Corps. Great product and I’d recommend this to anyone! My Weimaraner has had anxiety/trust issues and I prefer people not to pet her as I train her to remain calm around strangers. This was a perfect way to throw some “Do Not Pet” patches in a way to get that point across.

I just received this today and have only fitted it to my 143 lb., 19 month old Cane Corso (35" around hisntorso just behind the armpits). The fit seems fine so far...will update more later, but wanted to be sure and share the picture now for size reference for others.

Heavy duty snap closures. Metal buckles in the chest area, heavy duty plastic snaps on the sides. Easy slip on over-the-head style. (No need to lift up your pups legs, while trying to get them to hold still, so it doesn’t fall off while you buckle it.) This one is so much easier. Slip over their head like you would your shirt and buckle the sides. Done.Takes maybe ten seconds.Only draw back is, it’s not a no-pull harness.I think it was advertised as such. My malinois puppy is still learning and this does nothing to slow his pulling.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I love the quick releases. Easy to put on and take off but does NOT slip off unintentionally. Received so many compliments and questions. It's comfortable on my dog, especially where the buckles are. There's fabric overlap which prevents chaffing. She is very at ease in it, no scratching or irritation. I have a 45 lb mutt and got a small. I've outfitted it with molle packs and patches for personalization. Get stopped all the time by people asking where to get the harness.

I bought one of these and another brand's harness at the same time for my two Great Danes. Between the two, the IceFang was the clearly superior harness. Not only was it more adjustable to fit the different contours of the dogs, it just fit better. I assume this is from a better cut or design. It doesn't rub or ride, which helps keep their fur in good order while not irritating the dog while wearing it. The metal front buckles offer a confidence that they wont break under their extreme pull, and the no pull ring in the front has helped me train them not to pull on their leash. I especially appreciate the breathable webbing on the underside that helps keep them cool in the summer. The sizing seemed to be pretty spot on. My dogs chests were 38 &39 inches which called for the XL size. I only had to make small adjustments to the straps once I received it. Overall, it is a fantastic harness that I would highly recommend to any large breed owner.

I got size large for Dolph and it just fit him. He’s an 80lb+ European Doberman. Smallest of the litter but it’s all good. Hard to find things that fit with Dobermans large rib cages. He’s always been a puller while walking on the leash but this has significantly decreased that. Plus he looks so handsome.I can handle him much easier now. We both love it.Thanks!
