Great bed! It came rolled up and flattened but didn't take long to rise a bit. I do wish it came in more colors; I'm not too crazy about the orange stripe on the only neutral version. But, my Sheltie being a typical dog, he wouldn't lie on it until I put an old comforter of mine on top, so I guess the color doesn't matter anyway. ;) Maybe it smelled strange to him, but personally I didn't notice any chemical odor, which was really important to me since I was putting it in my bedroom. Once I put the comforter on top, he hopped on right away, and he enjoys snuggling into it or rolling around with his toys. I bought the 40 x 26 inch size because he likes to sleep with his legs stretched out. He's only 21 lbs. so there's lots of room to spare, which is great. I'm super pleased with my purchase.

Purchased this for my senior, large breed, dog after seeing this at my friend's house. All three of my dogs (all 60lb+) enjoy this bed individually. My senior has (full bladder) accidents and this is water resistant, as long as you catch it in time! Easy to wash the outside and the inner pad goes back in perfectly. Some inner pads get frumpy when put back in, but this product has the shredded foam sewn into smaller pockets within. I will be purchasing more for the other rooms in my house and will be sticking with this brand from now on. high quality, durable, and an excellent deal. I have a younger dog who likes to shred beds with her nails and this has stood up to her scratching!

Medium sized dog like an old cocker spaniel and small dog find this comfortable and it holds up firm not getting flat. The bunched shredded memory foam is working out good and holds up real well for pets. Our dogs cuddle with us on couch a lot so they don't use this a while lot but they go use this quote a bit and i feel after thoroughly inspecting and taking apart materials that it's going to be a good quality product. The mesh bottom is nice and not as slippery on our wood floors. The dogs have digged into it a couple times and is holding up like a champ. But this porosity isn't heavily used as other people's dogs probably use. But so far so good for their occasional quick basis or quick laying on.We ordered a medium and My friend and i had both tried laying on the bed and were didn't sink to the floor so it was puffy enough and thick enough and doesn't seem to flatten out

We love this bed. I purchased the largest size (52x34) in teal in March of 2016 (almost a year ago) after my 80+ lb lab had destroyed too many beds. Well a combination of scratching at them to get comfy, the occasional picking up, playing with and humping in additional to regular washes destroyed far too many beds. Clearly, my lab has more than enough room with this bed. We could have gone done in size or had more than one dog on this one, but he doesn't seem to mind the extra room. This bed is heavy enough that he doesn't pick it up. I think he tried once but didn't find it easy to pick up, which has eliminated him playing with and humping his bed. Further, this bed looks like new after washing and has no damage from the wash (washed cover in machine on delicate and tumble dried on low). He eats all his bones and treats on his bed; all the mess came out in the wash. Seriously, I'm so happy with this purchase. The only beds my dog likes better than this one are my lap and my bed. ;)

We looked at dog beds for quite a while for our 5 month old husky. This one appeared to be the best option for us in terms of size/price. We didn't want anything too expensive in case she didn't like it. Thankfully, she loves it. It's a nice size (there are other options but we went with the one around 3' x 2'.) and the teal is a nice color. It's comfortable and she'll lay on it for hours, either sleeping or playing with toys. She wants to spend all her time on it (and not in her crate, but that's another issue!) and often runs to it as soon as she comes in from outside. Great buy at a reasonable price. If she's happy, we're happy!

Well my dog Drusilla is of course getting older and she has been having issues with arthritis and some disc problems with her spine. She is on medication from the vets and that is helping a lot. I had my comforter on the floor to take to the dry cleaners and I noticed that before I took it in she had started to lay down on it. So I decided to try out a dog bed for her. She wasn't too sure about it at first BUT now she loves it!!! When I come home from work I find her sleeping soundly on it. And when I am on the sofa watching television I have it right next to me on the floor and there she is! The bed is just the right size for her and it is soft and still firm with just the right amount to give to it. I really like that the cover comes off to wash it. I found in doing my research that not all dog beds come with removable covers. That just doesn't seem to make sense. I got it at a really great price too. I highly recommend it. Whenever I buy something on-line I always research it pretty thoroughly before and I can tell you that this one is a real deal!

Still trying to figure out how this doesn't cost so much more! We adopted an older (9-year old) Mastiff-mix who weighs about 85lbs. She LOVES this bed, and as an older dog seems to truly help her with stiffness. Also, we have removed it a few times to be washed and couldn't be easier. Not sure what else to say about this bed, when it goes through the wash it effectively gets rid of any slobber/stains and looks good as new. We got the second-largest size (XL I believe) and there is still plenty of room on the bed for the dog when she is laying.

The bed is wonderful. Very durable and my dog loves it. Cover slip can come off for easy cleaning. The bed is so soft and I'm jealous I don't have one. I received the bed super fast. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

You can't beat the price and the quality is really good. My 20 lb dog loves it. I had bought a different bed on Amazon just prior to purchasing this one. It was advertised as being used at kennels and was definitely more expensive. Rudy scratches at his beds and sometimes bites on them to move them where he wants them (or to aggravate me?) Rudy would not sit on it. I think it was because it was a combination of sturdy foam and memory foam that was in some kind of pieces. Rudy only likes the softer beds. The Brindle is made of shredded foam. The Brindle does support his body though, but it is softer. Also, the other bed slid on my tile floor. It moved when Rudy stepped into it -- not much, but he didn't like it. The Brindle has a non-skid bottom. It is also quite attractive. It is not easy to find dog beds in the gray/black range of colors. Most are in earth tones. I bought this bed for my in-home office. It is black and red. So the grey is perfect. I measured Rudy nose to tail as suggested and added ten inches. . The medium size bed is perfect.Update: one year later. The seller is wonderful. I tried to buy a new cover because he chewed a hole in it. Although this type of damage is not covered, the seller sent me a whole new bed. Awesome!

This is a great bed for dog and or cats! The washable cover is a huge plus as my dog threw up on it once and it was easily removed and washed! It's also very strong/sturdy as I've scratched or rubbed it against some sharp corners and it has held up well!It must be great because our cat loves it much to the dismay of our dog!We got the 34x22 inch for our 40 lb dog. It fits perfectly in his crate as well.

At first our greyhound just sniffed it and wasn't really sure about it. The whole first day she seemed to prefer to lay someplace else, but I bought the thing because we're going to need it for travel, so I moved her slumber ball into a room that she doesn't normally hang out in, and it wasn't long before she figured out that this thing was a fine place to sleep. It doesn't let her snuggle up and nest like the slumber ball, but you can see how she kind of melts off of it. I should mention that when I say it's good for the price, it was on sale for about half off the normal price. It would be acceptable at full price, but I'd be pickier about knowing how easy it will be to clean and all that.

So happy with this purchase! It looks to be well made and I like the kaki color for my décor. No strange smell. I got the 34x22" size for a 10# Pomeranian who likes to stretch out when sleeping sometimes. The next size smaller might have been fine, but as per the seller's instructions, we know our pets preferences better than they, so I went ahead and got the bigger bed:) Anyways, I opened and unrolled this new bed and my dog sniffed it for one second, must've realized it was HIS new bed, and jumped right on it! He's never done taken to any other pet bed so fast!!! Since he liked it so much, I bought a second bed, the 22x16" size for him to curl up and nap in his spot by our front door. Again, he took right to the bed and is taking a nap in it now. Considering my dog can be a bit picky, it says a lot to me and so I would definitely recommend the BRINDLE Soft Memory Foam Dog Bed!!

Our 2 English Mastiffs Love these Beds. After looking at several beds I decided to purchase these after reading the review posted by the veterinarian. It's hard to find beds that are good quality and large enough for these gentle giants to sprawl out on . . These seem to be working out for Thor who is 200 pounds and Kena who is 180 pounds. The removable covers are also Awesome for my slobber monsters.

I have the Large size in the Khaki color. When it arrived, I wasn't sure how cushy it was going to be, since it was vacuum packed (totally flat!) and rolled up. After about an hour of breathing time, it was looking cushy and I took the opportunity to try it out before it got thoroughly dog-haired. Probably a bad idea, because now I wish I'd gotten two: so one could be my reading/tv-watching mat and the other could be for the dogs! Dogs, however, LOVE it. I now have 3 different dog beds (makes sense with 3 dogs - 2 basset hounds and a boxer mutt), and this is the definite favorite. I catch all 3 on this one all the time! I've had it for a few weeks now, and it still looks brand new - dog hair somehow manages to stay off the soft suede (magic? I think so) and my vacuum attachment went under it like a breeze. Awesome in all the ways!

My dog loves it and so do the cats. I bought 1 and then bought 2 more. Don't worry about the "lumpy" issue. It's shredded memory foam which is why it's so affordable. I'm a veterinarian, and I can tell you that the key for a dog bed is that it holds its shape and doesn't compress in order to prevent injury to bones and joints. This item holds its form beautifully. My dog (and cats) have been using it for several months now. I anticipate it will last us a while. The zip cover is also great. I cover all my dog beds with crib sheets, for easy washing once a week (helps prevent skin infections), but the cover that comes with the bed provides additional protection to the bed itself. I have a 50 lbs lab/whippet mix - I got the medium - perfect fit.

I had a bed frame made for my dog and I needed a "mattress" for it. I was hoping the size guidelines were accurate and they are! It came rolled up and compressed. It needed airing out as it had a bit of a smell. I left it outside to air in full sun for several hours and the smell left. Quality seems really good and dog seems to really like it so far. Hope it lasts for awhile.

I never write reviews but thought this might be a good one to start. We have an 80 lb Aussie that loved the bed so much we couldn't even get the tag off it before he took his first nap.

I purchased this bed to replace my 20# rat terriers Pooch Planet bed of the same style (shredded memory foam) that was seven years old. This is not my dogs only bed but this is his bed that he sleeps on at night.I choose this bed in particular based on price and styling. When it arrived I was pleased with the look and quality of the bed. The only area that I was not as pleased with were the side panels (the colored portion in my case red) are vented mesh. I took a photo of it to capture that the sides are vented and sheer you can just see the shine of my wedding ring under it, but it was hard to capture. I can see this material not lasting as long as the top panels and possibly ripping easier if my dog was a "nest builder" type. For me it should work because he doesn't nest too much since he has a fleece blanket with him as well. If I had a dog that was a chewer this bed would not be a good choice either, because in my opinion the branding patch and zipper cover flap (sorry not sure what to call that) are too distracting (AKA chewable) for those who like to nibble. The top panel feels like faux suede and the bottom is pretty slick. This bed would most likely slide on tile. Since it's in a dog crate it isn't an issue for me. The interior is nice since it's chambered which helps it not to fall flat. There is also a zipper on the inner portion so you can replace or easily access the memory foam. The tags state it's designed in the USA and made in China with a 3 year Limited Warranty The cover is 100% polyester and the inner stuffing is 100% polyurethane. Machine washable cover. I recommend cold, gentle cycle, dry low heat. The 34" X 22" I ordered is suited for dogs up to 70#I've included lots of photos to give you an idea of the quality and styling. Hope that helps.

When I opened the package and unrolled this bed, my first thought was, "This bed is huge!" It arrives vacuum sealed, so it's flat and needs some time to plump up. However, my dogs didn't even give it much time to puff up before wanting to try it out. I bought the 46" x 28" teal bed, and there is more than enough room for my dogs to share. I have one 60 lb, one 55 lb, and one 50lb dog that all snuggle up on this bed together each day. I even had to try it out because the bed is so soft and super plush. My dogs sink down a little when they lie on it, but there's still ample cushion keeping them off the hard floor. The shredded foam is inside a white liner, and the outer cover can be removed for washing. The zipper slides easily, and the outer cover hides dirt and hair nicely. Please be aware that this bed is not meant to be indestructible. Those who gave this a low rating because it only lasted a few hours before their dog ripped it to shreds have a little bit more training to do. If you have a non-chewing furry friend in need of a super fantastic comfortable bed, I definitely recommend this product!

My question after owning 104 dog beds: can I wash the cover over and over and over, and will the interior retain it's density? Yes! Dog loves it because it's cushy and comfy. I love it because my house doesn't smell like dog. I chose the medium size so Beagle can stretch out and watch her favorite tv shows and she was so pleased with it, she asked that I order another for her crate. The medium is a snug fit for the crate but works great. The thickness of the cushion has certainly made a difference in how she's able to get up after lying for a long period of time. Again, and most importantly, I can keep it clean. The cover can be easily vacuumed and unzipped for washing. Pet owner tip: Walgreens sells hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle that you can use to spray the foam interior--or anything for that matter--and it will invariably remove any pet smell. Urine, poop, nondescript pet stink, whatever. Seriously, it's the best kept secret. Doesn't discolor. Doesn't just cover up. Anyway, spray the foam bed, and by the time the cover comes out of the dryer, you won't even remember you have a teenager. I mean a dog. Who's bath time is the responsibility of your 17 year-old. Who's like having a second dog. Don't judge me. Kids are hard.Update: 2+ years and the bed inserts are still fluffy and the washable cover is still fully functioning. I expected the zipper to retire itself at some point, but no. I'm utterly impressed with this product. I have two of these beds. Both covers have been washed at least once a week for over two years. No seam tears, no fraying at the zipper. On another note, said teenager discussed in my original review, who is now 19 and a college sophomore was just home for break. Genius leaves a bag of M&Ms, a sandwich, and a Costo-size bag of Doritos in the living room while venturing back into the kitchen because he needed a 2nd Dr Pepper--after two Mountain Dews (Bad Mom award. I've simply given up the food battle. He's 6'3 and has the physique of an olympic athlete so he's believes he's invincible. I don't know if I'm disgusted or envious). Now, if you don't have a hound, you will never understand that you cannot leave food unattended for even a second. Beagle ate the candy, ate the chips, and finished off the Mountain Dew. I mean, why would one throw away a mostly empty cans of soda on his way back into the kitchen? Oh, and she clearly savored both the sandwich and the delicious signature-stamped tissue it was wrapped in. This took less than 45 seconds. What happened 30 minutes later was that of a crime scene because Genius decided to jail the dog in her crate for behavior unbecoming and head upstairs. I'll refrain from graphic details, but bed was duck taped closed inside of an industrial strength garbage bag and sent directly to the trash. Replacement ordered without hesitation. Posting another photo of Beagle after she'd plead guilty and suffering a binge hangover on her two year-old bed. And yes, you better believe I made Genius clean up the mess. Messes. Plural. For three days. "MOM! I need help! MOM!" Nope. Not a two person job, kid. Good Mom award.
